Diploma in Extra Corporal Perfusion Technology.

SYLLABUS OF CARDIO PULMONARY PERFUSION TECHNOLOGY FOR TWO YEARS:

1. General Human Anatomy- Physiology – Cardiovascular system in General – Heart and Lungs and Physiology.

2. Electro-cardiography – introduction- Normal ECG wave-pattern- Mechanical errors in ECG recording – Electrical Activity in Heart- abnormalities in ECG wave pattern.

3. Biochemistry- Clinical laboratory investigations-their relates or cardiopulmonary diseases- procedures for various investigations.

4. Pathology- Pathology of Heart- Clinical pathology Laboratory investigations in special reference to cardio- vascular diseases. b

5. Microbiology- Microbes-various cardiovascular diseases- infection source- main organized that cause cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases- use of investigation and procedures in laboratory-sterilizations – various methods.

6. Blood groups – cross matching techniques- abnormal diseases pertaining to bleeding to problems, clotting factors.

7. Blood gases- Electrolyte studies- their relation to cardiopulmonary bypass.

8. Anaesthesia – requirement for anaesthetic- Basic principles of anaesthesia in relation to cardiopulmonary bypass.
